Why have we chosen this blend? 

• Colour Vibrancy: Polyester holds dye much better than cotton, You’ll get sharper, more saturated colours.

• Durability: Polyester is stronger and more resistant to abrasion, meaning the tapestry will maintain its design longer without fading or fraying.

• Wrinkle Resistance: Tapestries hang better with fewer creases over time. Polyester helps it keep shape and lay flatter.

• Lightweight Hanging: A higher polyester content results in a lighter fabric, making large tapestries easier to hang with command strips or pins.

• Less Shrinkage: Cotton shrinks with humidity or washing. Polyester keeps size and print intact.

Machine Washing (Recommended):

• Use a cold water cycle (30°C or lower) to prevent shrinking or colour bleeding.

• Select a delicate or gentle cycle to minimize agitation and protect the weave.

• Use a small amount of mild, colour safe liquid detergent to preserve the vibrant colours.

• Wash the tapestry alone or with similar colours to avoid dye transfer.

Hand Washing (Alternative):

• Fill a tub with cold water and add a small amount of mild detergent.

• Gently submerge the tapestry and agitate lightly with your hands for 2-3 minutes.

• Rinse thoroughly with cold water to remove all detergent.
